Elvira Fundraiser

It’s not often you get to see an almost 120-year-old racing sloop still in use, but Gil Smith’s #Elvira is still slicing through the water thanks to the Bellport Historic Vessel Preserve (@p5elvira1906), who has helped restore her, along with others. The not-for-profit is holding a fundraiser on Friday, July 18 at the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society to keep her sailing proudly. Come and hear her story and meet her stewards.
