Festival of Loneliness
Come to this Festival of Loneliness — On Sunday night, Jan. 21, at 6 p.m., the Congregational Church of Patchogue will present its surprisingly uplifting Festival of Loneliness with a Museum of Loneliness in the reception room filled with gorgeous artwork, a solo dance by a beautiful choreographer, and at 7 p.m., The Greatest Lonely Songs in the world will start as the concert in the sanctuary. Performers include #RoryKelly, Miles to Dayton’s Dave March who’s singing vocals and playing acoustic guitar as a solo performer; his brother Jonathan March (drums) and Anthony Pravata (electric guitar) will accompany him. Among the songs: #NeilDiamond’s “Solitary Man,’ REM’s Everybody Hurts,’ #ElvisPresley’s “Heartbreak Hotel,” and #RoyOrbison’s “Only the Lonely.” Here’s the story by #LindaLeuzzi in the @liadvance:
