This musical kills with laughs

That’s James Taylor Odom in costume playing one of eight upper class characters who get knocked off in the wildly funny Tony award-winning musical “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” at #TheGateway from November 17 to December 4. Odom was in the national tour and this production has the original Broadway choreographer Peggy Hickey who is also directing. The premise: A guy (Monty Navarro played by Blake Price) in early 20th century England longs to get his mitts on a family earldom and inheritance by blithely knocking off the eight relatives in line before him, while romancing two women. It’s a brilliant killer of a musical.
