They’re looking for a Designer Showcase! The service groups are back to their meetings at the Gillette House in Sayville after a year and a half and the women are pursuing a Designer Showcase possibility with Islip Town. Also, badly needed renovations in this stately 1850 house, the home of Ida Gillette, an early 20th century mover and a shaker who funded and supported many initiatives in Sayville including the original Sayville Library.
