Author and Pulitzer Prize finalist Victoria Johnson @VSJohnsonNYC who wrote “American Eden: David Hosack, Botany and Medicine in the Garden of the Early Republic” which chronicles the story of Hosack, who created the first 20-acre public botanical garden in the U.S., part of which is now under Rockefeller Center, gave a great talk at the #SayvilleGardenClub recently riveting the audience.
