Voices Rising

Wow! A three-day Voices Rising film festival collaboration with producer Jaret Martino and Catherine Oberg of Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center in Patchogue with Roman, the co-coordinator of the Babylon Pride Parade walking the red carpet at the kickoff on Friday, September 30. Roman will perform as will Andrew Vass and Raquel Castro with the poignantly heartfelt “You Will Be Okay.” Also Chris Milo and Tim Eletto. The film festival, which runs through Sunday Oct. 2 celebrates Independent, new and Alternate filmmakers with audience discussions including Stony Brook University Hospital professionals offering resources as well as those from The Safe Center and The Retreat; American Indian representatives will be there as well. Supporters and cast members are flying in from London and Belgium.
